 Define an Enterprise Architecture Framework
 Name and differentiate between several different Enterprise Architecture Frameworks
 Identify and differentiate between several Enterprise Architecture reference model
 Understand the importance of process modeling
 Understand how and why the reference model is used during architecture efforts
 Identify locations and types of information for developing an Enterprise Architecture
 Identify several Enterprise Architecture data collection techniques
 Define the Business Architecture
 Define the Data Architecture
 Identify Infrastructure requirements or assets
 Identify Security requirements
 Discuss the benefits of engineering and Enterprise Architecture
 Define compliance and specific laws or statutes specific to their industry
 Outline IT Governance and its function within an organization
 Explain the concept of Business Transformation
 Identify evaluation criteria for determining the effectiveness of an Enterprise Architecture
 Articulate the value of Enterprise Architecture to an organization
 Complete an EA plan
 Complete a written report outlining the deliverables and tasks during the EA

 Present a completed Enterprise Architecture document for the fictitious Acme Novelty
Inc.
 Articulate a basic overview of several advanced technical developments that are
becoming more common in industry.
 Articulate what emerging technology is most likely to alter the corporate landscape for
either the organization they currently work for
